I have been taking yoga classes for about multiple years now, and I find them relaxing and meditative, and by the end of a session I will be both fatigued and invigorated.
I was never big on going to the gym, I find myself very comfortable and relaxed in the yoga studio.
This has resulted in my trying a few variant types of yoga over the last few months, most of which I did not care for. This latest one is something special, and combines yoga with using highly potent cannabis! Although I have smoked cannabis multiple times in the past, this was my first exposure to what they call holistic health, holistic health basically means a total program of caring for your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health as one total package. To help align all these unusual aspects of a person, potent strains of cannabis are used. Smoking cannabis helps to relax your mind and your body, plus put you in a mental state of readiness. When combined with cannabis, a yoga session can take on a whole new dimension. Although it is yoga, I often feel like guided meditation, because cannabis puts me in such a state of mind that the instructor can take me on a journey. After a session of cannabis yoga my mind and body feels worn out, and yet refreshed at the same time. I don’t suppose how much stock I put into holistic health as a philosophy, however I must admit that cannabis yoga has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking, and new ways of finally working out!
