I have been taking yoga classes for about more than two years now.
- I find them great and meditative, and by the end of a session I will feel both tired and invigorated.
I was never big on going to the gym, but I find myself honestly comfortable and relaxed in the yoga studio. This has resulted in our trying a few variant types of yoga over the last few weeks, most of which I did not care for. This latest one is something special, but, and combines yoga with using highly potent cannabis. Although I have smoked cannabis many times in the past, this was our first exposure to what they call holistic health, then holistic health basically means a total system of caring for your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health as one total package. To help align all these different aspects of a person, potent strains of cannabis are used, smoking cannabis helps to relax your mind and your body, and put you in a mental state of readiness, but when combined with cannabis, a yoga session can take on a whole new dimension. Although it is yoga, it often feels like guided meditation, because cannabis puts me in such a state of mind that the mentor can take me on a journey. After a session of cannabis yoga our mind and body feel worn out, and yet refreshed at the same time. I don’t think how much stock I put into holistic health as a philosophy, although I must confess that cannabis yoga has opened our eyes to new ways of thinking, and new ways of finally working out!
